EV-ELECTRIC VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES

Charging networks, home users, fleet users, municipalities, state and federal road authorities can all use STAT-EI’s dynamic and static charging technology to provide easy charging whether
vehicles are parked or on the go.

Static Wirless Power Transfer

STAT-EI’s technology developed by Dr. Arif Sarwat ( Wireless power electronics and controls (US9919610B1)) includes an electric charging station that can securely and efficiently charge electric vehicles statically (while at rest). It is a magnetic coupling based WPT system and scheme
that ensures fast and convenient charging. Customers simply pull up and park their vehicle over a charging pad, eliminating the fear of leaving their vehicles in public plug-in locations. The WPT solution includes specific power flow control techniques; appropriate converter and controller design; secure communication between transmitting and receiving coils to; and low losses.

Benefits of Static WPT

  • Secure, fast, and highly efficient
  • Bidirectional (allows for the use of the battery of the electric vehicles as a backup
    generators)
  • High frequency operation
  • Detects foreign objects
  • Power stabilizer
  • Power metering and payments

      Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer

STAT-EI’s dynamic WPT technology is based on inductive power transfer (IPT) and was developed by Dr. Arif Sarwat ( MOBILE WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER (US9731614B1) ). The solution includes specific power flow control techniques; appropriate converter and controller design; secure communication between transmitting and receiving coils; low losses to; and dynamic technology so owners can charge their electric vehicles while in motion. The application of this technology on public roads will eliminate the largest barrier to electric vehicle adoption—the fear of running out of energy during long trips, also known as “range anxiety.”

      Benefits of Dynamic WPT
